Thumbnails and trailers are your storefront — they're what convince a visitor to click, and a fan to buy. Here's how to make the most of them.
Auto-generated thumbnails
Every video is automatically scanned during processing and a set of thumbnails is created for you. To choose one, open the scene and click its thumbnail to open the thumbnail selector — you'll see all the auto-generated options organized in one place. Click any image to make it the main thumbnail.
Custom thumbnails
Want full control? Upload your own image in the same selector:
- Formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, or WebP
- Maximum size: 10MB
- Drag and drop or browse for the file — it appears in a dedicated "custom" section with an instant preview
You can also crop your thumbnail after uploading to get the framing just right.
Trailers
A trailer is a short preview that visitors can watch before they join — one of the most effective selling tools you have.
- Add a trailer during the upload flow, or later from the scene's options.
- Any video format works, up to 500MB — it's automatically converted for smooth web playback.
- Trailers can have their own custom thumbnail too.
Tips that convert
- Bright, sharp, close-up thumbnails outperform dark or busy ones.
- Keep trailers short and punchy — tease, don't give it all away.
- Refresh thumbnails on older scenes to give them a second life.
