Not every fan wants a subscription — some just want that one scene. VOD (video on demand) lets you sell individual scenes for a one-time price.
Setting a VOD price
- Go to Content → Scenes and open the scene's options.
- Choose Set VOD Price.
- Pick from the available price points (starting from $1, with common options like $5, $10, $15, $20, and $25) and save.
The scene now shows a purchase option to visitors and members, and buyers get access to that scene without needing a subscription.
Where purchases show up
- Members → VOD Members lists everyone who has bought scenes.
- Reports → VOD Purchases shows your pay-per-view sales, averages per scene and per buyer, and trends over time.
Showing or hiding the VOD button
You control whether the VOD purchase button appears across your site from the theme's advanced settings — useful if you want to run a subscription-only site, or switch VOD on for a big release.
Tips
- Premium-length or special releases justify higher price points; shorter clips do better at lower ones.
- A strong trailer dramatically increases VOD sales — buyers want to know what they're getting.
- VOD buyers are warm leads: they've already paid once, so they're your best audience for a subscription pitch.
