The Themes → Preview page is your site's control room: update your site to the latest platform version, and manage the demo access you use to view and share your site before launch.
Updating your site
We regularly ship improvements and new features to the platform. Click Update Site to refresh your site and apply the latest platform improvements — no technical steps, and your content and design settings are untouched. The update runs in the background; the page shows its current status while it works.
Tip: if a recent design change doesn't seem to be showing, an update/refresh from this page is usually the fix.
Demo access: viewing your site before launch
Until your site is fully approved, it runs in Demo mode: visitors who open your domain see a password screen instead of your site. The Preview page shows your Demo Access credentials — use the password to view your site exactly as it will appear to the public, and share it with anyone you'd like to give a sneak peek (a collaborator, a friend, your own second device).
You'll also find your Members Area link and login details here, so you can check the logged-in member experience too.
Why is my site still in Demo mode?
This is the important part: your site stays in Demo mode until it has been approved — not just by our review team, but by the billing companies and banks that process your members' payments.
Here's the journey:
- You submit your site for review from your setup checklist.
- Our team reviews it — content, performer documents, and site setup.
- The billers review it — payment processors and their banking partners must approve every new site before they'll accept payments for it. This is a standard compliance step in the industry and it happens outside our platform, so it can add some waiting time that we can't skip or speed up.
- Approval — Demo mode is switched off, the password screen disappears, and your site is live and able to take real signups.
So if your site looks "stuck" behind the demo password after you've submitted it, that's normal — it usually means the biller review is still in progress. You'll be notified when your site is approved and live.
While you wait
- Keep uploading — launching with a solid content library makes your first impression count.
- Fill your Upcoming queue with scheduled scenes.
- Polish your design using the demo password to check every page.
- Line up your launch posts on X so you're ready the moment Demo mode lifts.
