Your Performers page comes with filters and gender categories using standard wording. You can rename those categories in your own language, hide the ones you don't use, and switch the filters off entirely.
Where to find these settings
- Go to Site → Structure.
- Switch to the Performers page.
- Open the settings for the performers section.
Renaming the gender categories
The three categories — Female, Male, and Trans — each have a label field you can edit. Type whatever suits your brand: "Girls," "Guys," "Models," anything up to 40 characters.
Leave a label blank to use your template's default wording. You don't have to rename all three — change only the ones you want.
Hiding genders you don't use
Under Show / Hide Genders, untick any category you don't want on your site. Unchecked genders are hidden from both the performers listing and the filter, so a solo creator or a single-gender site isn't showing visitors empty categories.
At least one gender must stay visible — the last remaining one can't be unticked, since the page would otherwise have nothing to show.
Turning filters off
The same settings panel controls the filters on the page:
- Show gender filter — the gender tabs/filter.
- Show alphabet filter — the A–Z filter.
- Show sorting filters — the sort controls.
If you only have a handful of performers, turning these off makes the page look cleaner — filters are worth their space only once there's enough to filter through.
Suggested setups
- Solo creator — hide the genders you don't use and turn off all three filters. The page becomes a simple profile.
- Small roster — keep genders relevant to your content, drop the alphabet filter.
- Large roster — keep everything on, and rename the categories to match your brand's voice.
