Your site isn't limited to video and photos — you can publish audio too. Audio stories, ASMR, voice notes, phone-call style content, or anything your fans would rather listen to than watch.
Uploading audio
- Go to Content → Scenes and open the upload panel.
- Switch to the Audio tab.
- Pick the site the audio should be added to.
- Drop your audio files in, or click to browse.
- Add a title if you like — leave it empty and the file name is used.
You can upload several files at once, and you can edit the price, models, and tags after upload — no need to get everything right before the files go in.
Supported formats
All the common audio formats work: MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, OPUS, AIFF, WMA, ALAC, and CAF. MP3 and M4A are the safest choices if you're exporting fresh.
What happens after upload
Audio goes through encoding like any other upload. The status on each item tells you where it is:
- Encoding audio — processing is underway.
- Audio Ready — finished and playable.
- No audio — nothing has been encoded for this item yet.
- Needs attention — encoding stalled. Try re-uploading the file, and contact support if it happens again.
Audio scenes work like any other scene
Once uploaded, audio behaves the same as the rest of your content:
- Give it a title and description, and tag performers and categories.
- Set a publish date to schedule it, or publish right away — see My site looks empty — publishing your scenes.
- Set a price to sell it individually, or leave it included with membership — see Content prices: setting a price on individual scenes.
- Give it a thumbnail, since audio has no video frames to generate one from. This matters more than usual: the thumbnail is the only visual your audio has.
Ideas for audio
- Audio stories and ASMR — content fans can enjoy with headphones, away from a screen.
- Voice messages — a personal note to members, which costs you minutes to make.
- Behind-the-scenes commentary — pair it with a category and a custom section so it has a home. See Unlisted categories: keeping extras out of your main feeds.
Audio is quick to produce compared to video, which makes it a good way to keep your release schedule full between shoots.
