Uploaded videos, photos, and performers, but your site still looks empty? This is almost always the same thing: your scenes are uploaded but not published yet.
New scenes start out unpublished
When you upload a scene, it's added to your library but not put on your site automatically. That's deliberate — it gives you time to add a title, thumbnail, trailer, performers, and categories before anyone sees it. Until you publish it, it won't appear anywhere on your site.
How to publish a scene
- Go to Content → Scenes.
- Open the scene's Quick Edit.
- Under Availability, switch it from Unpublished to Published.
- Save.
Publishing several at once? Select them all and use bulk actions instead of going one by one — see Bulk actions: editing many scenes at once.
Reading the status badge
Each scene in your library shows its status:
- Published — live on your site.
- Scheduled — published, but with a future publish date. It appears automatically on that date.
- Members Only — visible to logged-in members, not on your public tour.
- Disabled / Unpublished — not on your site at all. This is what a fresh upload looks like.
If your site looks empty, filter your library by Published — if that list is short or empty, you've found the problem.
What about "Pending Approval" on documents?
Paperwork badges (Pending Approval, Missing Docs, Not Verified) are about performer compliance documents — a separate thing from publishing. You can publish scenes and build out your site while documents are under review. See How long does 2257 document approval take?.
Still not showing after publishing?
- Confirm the publish date isn't in the future (that shows as Scheduled).
- Click Clear Cache in the sidebar, then hard-refresh your browser — see Content not showing up on your site? Clear the cache.
- Before launch your site is in Demo mode, so you'll need your demo password to view it — see Site updates and demo access.
