Three things make a live stream earn more: people knowing it's happening, an image worth clicking, and an easy way for fans to tip. All three are in your live setup.
Your live image
Upload a live image in your stream settings. It's shown on your tour and members live pages, and it's the image used whenever your live URL is shared.
This matters most for members-only streams: visitors who aren't members see your live image on the public site — so they know something's happening and have a reason to join — while the stream itself stays exclusive to members.
There's also a Blur image option, which uses a smaller blurred version everywhere the image appears — useful when the image is too explicit for public placements.
Letting fans know you're live
When you go live, an announcement can appear across your site to pull browsing fans into the stream. Combine it with push notifications and a post to X for the widest reach.
Tips and token packages
Fans tip with tokens during streams. In your live settings, choose the token packages fans can buy for tips and gifts — you create these packages under Business → Tokens, setting how many tokens each contains and what it costs. See Earning from chat: paid messages and token packages.
See who tipped
After a stream, open its tip breakdown from your live sessions list. You'll see:
- Tippers — who tipped during the session.
- Total tokens — the session's tip total.
- Transactions — the individual tips.
Your top tippers are your most valuable fans by a wide margin — thanking them by name on your next stream costs nothing and pays for itself.
Tips for a better stream
- Upload a fresh live image before each stream — it's the thumbnail your announcement and shared links use.
- Announce the time in advance so fans can plan around it.
- Acknowledge tips out loud as they come in; it's the single best driver of more tips.
