Want to know how many views a scene has had this month, or since the day you published it? Both live in Reports → Traffic.
Views for all your scenes
- Go to Reports → Traffic.
- Switch the report type to Page Views.
- Set the date range you want:
- Monthly views — pick the first and last day of the month (or the last 30 days).
- Lifetime views — set the start date to before your site launched and the end date to today. That total is your all-time count.
- Use the filter to narrow the list to Scenes (you can also filter to Performers, or view All pages), and search for a specific title.
You'll get a view count per page, so you can see which scenes pull the most traffic and which ones are quietly underperforming.
Views for a single scene
For a quick look at one scene without leaving your content:
- Go to Content → Scenes.
- Open that scene's analytics option.
You'll see its Total Page Views for the period, Average Daily Views, its Peak Day, and a day-by-day chart and table. Change the time period to switch between a month and lifetime.
How your videos are actually performing
Page views tell you how many people opened a scene. To see how many pressed play, scroll to the Media Analytics — Video Performance section of the Traffic report:
- Impressions — how often the video was shown.
- Plays and play rate — how many turned into actual views.
- Watched — how much of the video people got through.
A scene with lots of page views but a low play rate usually has a thumbnail or title problem rather than a content problem — see Thumbnails and trailers.
